GTA III: Mobile

  Normally we don’t cover mobile games here at Rearpe Gaming but for this one I thought I’d make an acception after all this is GTA in your pocket!! Considering the original GTA was released in 1997/1998 on the windows Dos format  and  GTA 3 came out in 2001, developed by DMA Designs ( now know as Roackstar North) this was the first GTA to bring the third person view into the GTA series. Gaming  no longer took place in a top down scroll and shot em up and it was something that changed the sandbox gaming industry forever.

Max Payne 3 – Special Edition Revealed

Max is back in the early part of 2012, much to our pleasure and he’s bringing with him a shiny special edition in celebration of his third outing. Rockstar have announced that this edition will cost around 100 of you given currency and will only be available for a limited time, with the closing date for pre-orders ending on the 15th of January next year. Max Payne 3 – How its Made Vid.

Max Payne 3 is coming in March 2012 and in true Rockstar style they have released a nice lil vid on what makes it tick. It is looking rather nice actually. Really enjoyed the previous Max Payne games, they had a great vibe to them and Bullet-time was fun too. This third game is starting to look more like a reboot than a sequel though or a game of a movie – ‘Man on Fire’ anyone?. It will be an interesting one to watch…

GTA V – Download Only?

  In a report from Newzoo.com about DLC, pre-owned and digital distribution CEO Peter Warman dropped a major bomb shell hinting that titles such as GTA V might be available to download only!! He said: “There are a lot of reasons why publishers are pushing towards digital distribution of triple-A games.” “Speaking out loud might harm the relationship with retail partners, but the benefits have become too large to remain silent about the desire to go completely digital. GTA V – Trailer Hot Off the Press!!

Holy Janey-Mac, it’s the trailer for GTA V – Wet your pants! Go… It’s official, we’re going to Vinewood and San Andreas – or LA in reality. It seems to have all you would expect from a GTA game – cars, choppers, planes, guns, explosions and a healthy lashing of violent humour. Is that Ray Liotta (Tommy Vercetti) on the voice over? Hmmm… It’s a full running trailer with full gameplay, no cheapo rub off montage crap here – thank you Rockstar – Thank you!!

Red Dead Redemption – The Review

Xbox 360 PS3 Rockstar Games         When Red Dead Redemption came out last year I had fully intended on doing a review for it, but as time went by it seemed pointless. Of course it was a total commercial success and anything I could add would have been only academic. As the year past I found it more and more astonishing that so many people I talked to hadn’t played it – at all! Max Payne 3: Trailer

  A new trailer has been released for the long awaited third instalment in the Max Payne series. That’s right everyone’s favourite pill popping, slow motion shooting cop is back but this time he’s not a cop and seems to have replaced the pills with pies.  Now finally a release date of March 2012 has been set, so you never know it might actually come out this time. Anyway here’s the trailer:
